The original topic is locked, so I'm re-creating it. I bet a lot has changed in the four years since the other thread was made. lol
Personally, I'm looking for suggestions on lesbian social networks, but I thought it would be a good idea to have a place to post info about LGBT sites in general.
As for lesbian sites, so far I've found GayGirlNet and QueerKat, Shoe.org (but that looks to be a paid site), Lesbotronic and Gays.com (which have been around for ages), and LesPark and Wing Ma'am (which are mobile apps). The only one of these that I've used is Lesbotronic, which is worth it, even if you don't meet anyone, for the snarky way the content is written.
On a related and sad note, I learned during my search that the founder of Lezzbook passed away a couple years ago, at only 34 years old. I think Lezzbook was in the middle of revamping when it happened, and they don't seem to have come back yet. They may have decided to just let it go.
Also, Downelink seems to be a popular LGBT network.
If anyone has experience with these sites or knows of others, please post your thoughts!

I just wanted to let you know that I have a group on facebook called blind and lgbt community so if any of you would like to join you would be very welcome! it goes through phases of having some really good discussion going on but like with most groups it does have its weirdness! so hope to hear from you on there!
